Elephants always remind me of the classic African adventure. There is something very romantic about these majestic beasts. During my last trip to Africa, while driving along a road in a large vehicle, we passed too close to a bull elephant under a Baobab tree; protective of it's domain the elephant charged us. He came so close I could see the veins in his ears! It's a very threatening display, I wanted to capture that thrill in this painting.
